After Murano, we hopped another private boat to Burano, another island in the Venetian Lagoon, northern Italy It’s
made up of four islands linked by bridges and is known for its lacework and
brightly colored homes.
It's a old fishing village, and the houses are painted that way to help the fishermen find their way home when they return at night and it's foggy. Or that's what they tell us tourists!
We had lunch here: sea bass cooked whole and prepared at our table. Yum!
