Cruise Monkey?

Cruise Monkey started as a joke with my co-workers. I said I was willing to work as much overtime as was needed to help pay for our trip – the trip had become the “monkey on our back”. And in a creative moment, I cut and pasted together our cruise monkey. He’s actually Captain Stubing from the series “The Love Boat” with the happy monkey face overlaid. That seemed appropriate since we're sailing on a Princess Cruise. Stare into his eyes too long and you just might book a cruise too!

Dinner with my sweetie!

Bob: Our first dinner in Italy. Tired from the extended trip here, we walked to Trattoria "Alle Burchielle" down the street and had a wonderful meal.  Here's my beautiful sweetie!





We started with this version of shrimp cocktail -- in aoli, with a dipping sauce that was very different from the usual horseradish cocktail sauce.  We had ravioli with Ragu sauce, and shared a thin steak for the main course.  We tasted each other's desserts: tiramisu for Leigh, lemon sorbet for me.  Washed it all down with Chianti!
